Seasonal, locally sourced flowers
The flowers I carefully select for your wedding are sourced in France and locally whenever possible. Your colour palette will be guided by the most beautiful blooms the season has to offer – which is also what makes every wedding unique.
Foam-free floral design
In line with my zero waste approach, all my creations are made without floral foam. Instead, I work with reusable or compostable structures and vessels.
I’m Marie, founder of Atelier Aimer, based in Nantes, between the Loire Valley and the Atlantic coast.
After a career in perfumery, I followed my love for nature and retrained as a florist. I opened my studio with one conviction : you can create breathtaking floral designs while respecting the environment.
My style is wild, organic and poetic – inspired by gardens, meadows and the imperfect beauty of what grows naturally. Every wedding I design is one of a kind, crafted around your story, your venue and the season.
I work in both French and English, and I’m used to accompanying international couples through every step of the planning, even from a distance. Whether we meet in person or work together over email, you’re in safe hands.

Do you speak English ?
Yes! I work with international couples regularly and I’m comfortable communicating in English throughout the entire process – from the first email to the big day.
Can we plan everything remotely ?
Absolutely. Most of my international couples plan their wedding over email and video calls. If you’re visiting the region before the wedding, we can meet in person, but it’s not a requirement.
How far in advance should we get in touch ?
Ideally 6 to 12 months before your wedding, so we have time to design something truly special. If you’re planning on a shorter timeline, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Does eco-friendly mean limited choices ?
Not at all. Working with seasonal, locally grown flowers is what makes each wedding unique. The palette shifts throughout the year, and that natural diversity creates compositions you won’t find anywhere else.
Do you travel outside Nantes ?
I primarily work across the Loire Valley and Brittany. For weddings elsewhere in France, feel free to get in touch to discuss your plans.
What does the budget include ?
The starting budget of €2,000 covers the full service : personalized design, all floral compositions, delivery and installation at your venue. Simpler options are also available.
Each arrangement is the result of a thoughtful process, where every flower is chosen with intention.
Beyond weddings, I also teach and mentor florists, sharing a refined, sustainable approach to floral design.
